Great comment. In my opinion, this stems from lack of confidence that a lot of women have (but man can have too, of course), specially in man-dominated fields such as IT. But this has to change. Assertiveness and confidence is gender neutral!

I make these mistakes but I think it's mostly because I am young and just now entering the workforce. Being a women probably plays a role in it too, but I refuse to believe that it's just due to my gender and societal expectations. We are all human and we all have the power to change.
